Alex has been practising yoga since 2001 and in 2009 she decided to quit her job in Television Production and train to become a Yoga Teacher. She undertook an intensive Teacher Training course in Goa, India and is a registered RYT 200 teacher with Yoga Alliance UK. She has been teaching adults and children ever since and continues to develop and improve her own yoga, as well as her teaching, with regular attendance at classes and workshops.

Alex chose to work with children as she was conscious of the rising level of children’s stress and the need to get children more active. Alex takes inspiration from the school curriculum enhancing children’s interest in subjects they may be learning during their school day – healthy eating, animals, history projects, bugs, etc. Following Alex’s yoga and short visualisation exercises the children learn to listen to their bodies and develop an awareness of themselves becoming more calm and focussed.
